Opposition Day debate on Volunteering (4 June 2008)

This speech supported the
Government's programme for encouraging volunteering and criticised
the Tory approach. I spoke as Chair of the All Party Group on the
Community and Voluntary Sectors and of the Community Development
Foundation, and as a former member of the Commission on the Future
of Volunteering.
